For those of you who haven't already seen them on the YouTube channel, I've recently edited and uploaded two new videos. The first one was from a recent bike ride to the beach here in Portugal on a typically lovely sunny sunday. The beach is only fifteen minutes away by bike or only five driving, but its a nice cycle there through the rural landscape. That day there were a lot of surfers at the beach and I sat and watched them as I relaxed on the beach..
The second video I took from my footage shot back in June, on the way through Scotland. I had pulled in to have a rest on the way from Glencoe to Applecross, and found what would make a great stopover place right on the shore of Loch Garry. Again it was a really good day in June, during the heatwave we had back then. I didn't stop over there myself, but made a note of it for a future trip, and thought I'd share it here for anyone going that direction themselves..

If you're looking for a good map of Western Scotland and the Western Isles, the one I recommend is the 'Road 2' - this map used to be produced by OS, but they stopped doing it. You can buy it here for £4.99:
