Road Diary - Day2 | Glencoe

Mixed feelings heading south through the highlands.. Managed to slay the ghosts at the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe with some new friends tonight after a difficult day filled with memories of my times in the highlands.

After a cooked breakfast with bacon at Loch Claunie, I spent a few hours cleaning and organising the van; getting everything as it needs to be before starting a new chapter in my life.

I drove south as far as Fort William where I stocked up on supplies for my trip, including coffee and necessary items at a good price. Also a full tank of diesel at 1.32p per lite to help me on my way.

Reaching Glencoe I parked up near the Clachaig where I've just spent the evening chatting with some bikers and twin sisters from Plymouth where I'll be by this time next weekends. Great times with Scots music from these guys..

Also a fleeting but meaningful conversation with a guy burdened by the pressures of finances and a growing family. Thanks for the pint and all my blessings for your difficult decision my friend..
