Journey South

So I've begun my journey south. Yesterday, after being stranded on Scoraig for two days due to the wind and waves, I managed to get back across the loch to my van in the post boat.

It was a very rough crossing and I chose the worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) corner of the boat to sit in. Big waves splashing over the side and a big swell made it a thrilling trip over, thankfully wearing wet gear saved the day.

I've driven down to Glasgow to visit my cousin for the night via the A9 to make up the lost couple if days. On the way into Glasgow my phone went 'ch-ching!' The eBay app telling me the kayak had sold for the full listing price - happy days. I can drop it off in Irvine later today.

Tonight I'll be stopping over in Dumfries and Galloway after a couple of hours drive to meet up with another Hiace camper owner, whom I'm looking forward to meeting and checking out one another's vans. Great timing and see you later..
